Messier 71 — loose glob

M71 (NGC 6838) is a globular cluster in the constellation Sagitta.

The picture was taken with a modified Canon Rebel on a TEC 140 from the Alpenglow-Torrey House Observatory in the dark sky community of Torrey, Utah on October 16th 2022.

M71 is a loose glob and many astronomers thought it was an open cluster.
